Makeup Monday- Wing Eyeliner Made Easy

December 1, 2014

Hey Everyone!
So Today I wanted to share an easy way to create a Winged Eyeliner. I do a wing liner just about everyday, its my my favorite. I get a lot of questions about how I get both eyes even. The truth is, it really just takes practice. Good news is that if you don’t have a lot of time to practice and you really wanted this look for tonight’s party or for a night out, I have an easy trick!

1. Start by taking your favorite concealer and drawing a line from outer corner of your eye up towards your eyebrow. This will ensure your wing placement is most flattering.

2.Take any gel or liquid liner and draw a thin line onto your lash line.

3.Now draw a line right above the concealer line you drew before. Make sure not to follow the line all the way up to the brow; just extend the line out as far as you feel comfortable.

4.Next connect the lines. I start from he point of the wing and bring it back in towards your lash line.

5.All that’s left to do is fill in the wing. From this point you can make any corrections you may need, like making the wing more extended out or making the liner thicker; Its all up to you and what you like.

Add some mascara and falsies (if you choose to) and you got yourself a perfect winged liner.

Don’t forgot to show us your Winged Liner by hash-tagging #LAMakeupMonday!!!

Tartes Precision Longwear Liquid Liner

April 16, 2014

20140416-115354.jpg

I was so excited to try this eyeliner!!! I love me some winged eyeliner! but,

sometimes it takes so much work to do, I only have few minutes  to

get the job done! I normally use an angle brush and MAC black track gel liner,

which is great but time consuming. With one swipe, this eyeliner is super dark and easy to handle.

So easy to have a steady hand with this liner. Very happy to add this to my everyday collection.

What I LOVE about Tarte is all their products are so pure and formulated WITHOUT

parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate, and gluten.

Above is the eye shadow collection from Tarte Cosmetics.

This is what I used to get the  look below, super soft beach look.

20140416-115412.jpg

1. i used the gold shimmer on my lower half of my lid.

2. then used the soft matte brown across my crease.

3. The matte white for my brow high light.

4. the dark brown shimmer below my lower lash line.

Then to finish the look I used Salon Perfects Demi Wispies for my Lashes.

and Anastasia Beverly Hills chocolate duo powder from her pro palette on my brows.

Hope you enjoyed this look. See you in the next post.

Electric Palette Urban Decay

April 15, 2014

photo-9

Hello loves! Today I had some time to play with the Electric Palette from Urban Decay.

The photo above is what I came up with! I LOVE how pigmented the colors are.  I hate when you purchase

an eyeshadow and it look so beautiful and bright in the palette but you put it on, it looks so dual.

1. Apply the color “urban” to the center of your lid.

2. Next apply “savage” to your crease with a blending brush.

3. To highlight my brow bone I used the color “vanilla” pigment from MAC

4. Above your crease softly swift the color “slowburn” so there is more of a transition.

5. Apply a black liner to your waterline.

6. Apply the color “chaos” to your lower lash line using a pencil brush.

7. Next I used Tartes new liquid liner (It’s AMAZING!) to create my winged out eyeliner.

8. Finished the look off with Salon Perfects Wispies, I glued them on using Duo Adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed this look!

Have an amazing day!

Makeup of the Day

March 21, 2013

Loving this look I did on myself last night. Using wearable color on your eyes, without it looking too much!

Here are the colors:

Step 1: Make sure your brows are shaped an manicured, I use gigi waxing kit to get my perfectly cleaned up.

Step 2: Shade your brows with the perfect brow shader, I love Anastasias products.

Step 3: Base: prepare your lid for some eyeshadow by apply a eyeshadow base all over your lid. I used Painterly from MAC.

Step 4: Starting from the top, apply vanilla pigment from MAC to your highlight ( right below the brow)

Step 5: Softly brush texture eyeshadow from MAC across your crease using a blending brush.

Step 6: Apply sketch from MAC to your deep crease

Step 7: On the center of your lid apply golden rod shadow from MAC (they carry it at the pro store only)

Step 8: Then softly blend Coral Shadow from MAC on top of golden rod and bring it to your inner corner

Step 9: Apply Pink bronze pigment to your inner corner and blend it towards your lower lash line.

Step 10: smokey out sketch below your lower lash line

Step 11: Apply a gold pencil liner and top it with pink bronze from MAC

Step 12: Apply Liquid liner, i used boot black from MAC.

Enjoy the color combo!

Heart you guys!
