Hey guys, I was watching American Idol the other day and Jennifer Lopez had this amazing smokey eye! Her eyes were super dark and she had this light pale pink lipstick on. I mean… she is gorgeous anyway so I would think that any makeup she had on would look amazing! haha but it inspired me anyway to create another fun, simple tutorial. If you guys have any other suggestions on what I should show or do differently please let me know.

Though I got inspired by Jennifer Lopez, every celebrity loves to do a smokey eye wether its on or off the red carpet. Kim Kardashian especially! Since she is so popular with the smokeyness I decided to name yet another video after her. lol Hope you guys enjoys this!

So I have now been a makeup artist for officially 10 years! geez I feel old! but I have quite a few Red Carpet experiences under my belt. From big events like the Grammys and Oscars to small store openings! A few things you have to remember about red carpet you got to use primers and long lasting makeup because these events are long and they cant go in looking gorgeous and come out looking, well…. not so pretty! haha

Some brands of primers I like are, smashbox, two faced, and Laura Mercier. I have never had a problem with these and also know that these will definitely help your foundation last all night! Primers to use on your eyes, Urban Decay, and Macs paint pots! I love them!

Anyway, here is one look I put together for you all recreating Kim K’s look at the Golden Globes and I also added some fun nails to go with the look:)

New Years Eve Makeup Look!

What I used:

Lower Lid: GreenSmoke MAC then glued Antique Reflects Gold Glitter from MAC on top

Crease: Cabon, Texture MAC

Highlight: Blanc Type MAC

Liner: Blacktrack MAC

Waterline: Smolder

With my love for Hello Kitty, like most of you! I wanted to create a fun Hello Kitty Christmas inspired  nail art tutorial, so this is what I came up with. Red bows for your tips and a Hello Kitty wearing a Santa Claus hat. This is nne of my favorite nail designs I have created so far

What I used:

Salon Perfects nail polishes to create this design, you can only purchase these polishes at WalMart, you will also need a toothpick to outline.

I know that this picture may look hard to do but with the video below I made it SUPER simple to get this look.

Its that time of year again! I love the Holidays!!!

I was in the mood to make some Christmas videos and have really been into doing fun little designs on my nails so i went to the closest drug store around my moms house and bought a bunch of nail polishes to make some nail art videos. I wanted to get polishes that everyone can find and afford so I bought the cheapest ones I saw which was called Salon Perfect.

Here is the 1st Holiday video. Candy Cane nails! When my son saw my nails he said “oh mom you have candy canes on your nails? can I eat them?!” haha

This project couldn’t have been easier!
Check your kitchen for Sugar, oil, and Vanilla

Sugar- brown, white, raw-depending on the size of the grain you want as a scrub

Oil- I chose grape seed oil for it’s great benefits! An antioxidant, locks in moisture, great for all skin types, easily absorbs in skin, helping fight free radicals and stop some enzymes that destroy collagen: meaning inhibits fine lines!

Vanilla extract is optional- I found that it helped smooth out the consistency of the scrub, depending on the amount and gave a nice scent.

Step 1: Add your desired amount of sugar in container

Step 2: Slowly add in oil, keep mixing until you have your desired consistency. I like mine with enough oil to be able to easily rub on my skin. I kept getting a little bit of the mixture and rubbing it on my hand.

Step 3: A couple drops of vanilla
…and you’re done!

Benefits:  very healing for people with skin conditions such as psoriasis or eczema
-exfoliate the skin and deep cleanse it.
-all-over body scrub and polisher.
-alpha-hydroxy rich to give you glowing skin.
- promote the growth of a healthier; more uniformly colored and textured skin.
-no harsh side effects.
-great for all skin types, especially dry to very dry skin.
-hydrate skin without clogging pores and are absorbed completely in one minute.
-have been shown to stimulate and circulate lymph fluids.
-wonderful for soothing the skin after shaving.
-can replace many skin care products, such as those rough pumice stones.
-act as an exfoliate of dead skin before self tanning, also hydrates the skin, which prevents excessive self tanning being absorbed in those key areas like knees, ankles, and elbows.
-safe enough for frequent use and are non-abrasive enough for everyday use, even for your face, yet the exfoliative agents and oils are strong enough to work wonders on even the toughest, roughest skin.
-can quickly help heal blemishes, absorb the dirt and oil from pores, and balance the natural oils in the skin.
-can soften even rough, chapped, calloused man-hands after only a few uses.
-no need for a separate cleanser and a separate moisturizing product.

1.Having my nails done- I did them myself, they were super simple. (I have a tutorial coming soon but for now)

first I painted my entire nail with gold glitter

second I stuck on hole protectors on the bottom half to get the half moon look.

third I painted black nail polish on top of the hole protectors.

fourth I pulled the hole protectors off and got this look
