How cute is she?

She Obviously sees me turning myself into crazy characters all day long so when she asked me to turn her into a deer you have to imagine how excited I was. This is a very cute and easy Halloween Costume for your baby girl.

Makeup Monday- Wearable Cut Crease

January 12, 2015

Hello Beauties!!

So I wanted to share with you how I do an easy daytime cut crease eye shadow. As I was going through instagram, youtube and other social media, all I could find was over the top Cut Crease Looks. I wanted to something more wearable for any day of the week whether you’re going to work or school, and it can easily transition into a night out look if you want to top it off with glitter.

Let me know what you think! As always, share your looks with us! #LAMakeupMonday

Side Dutch Braid Holiday Hair Tutorial

December 24, 2014

IMG_3678-0.PNG

IMG_3676-0.PNG

Yay for another holiday hair tutorial! So this may be a little advanced, it’ll be super easy if you’re familiar with braiding. If not….we’ll do a tutorial strictly on braiding.

I’m the meantime… Here’s the break down of the step by step collage:

1) section from ear to eat about an 1″ of hair. Leave some hair around the ears for fun. If you have bangs, leave that out and section behind it. If you don’t have bangs section from ear to ear right at your front hairline

2)start with a 3 strand braid

3) from that 3 strand braid, take it to a Dutch braid (braiding underneath, taking a section from each side and braid that under) continue that Dutch braid until the top of the ear…then switch back to a normal 3 strand braid until the end of the hair length. Tie with a band

4) fatten up the braid by pulling softly on the sides of the braid

5) bring all your hair to the side of the braid and tie that braid around the rest of your hair. Secure with a tie band

6) add a cute band to accessorize your hairstyle!

This tutorial seems a little hard if you’re not familiar with braiding…but if you’re pro this is super easy and fast!

DIY Lipstick Holders!

DIY LIPSTICK HOLDERS

Have you ever tried to organize your makeup, and found everything at the

container store was extremely expensive after having to purchase every

little compartment you need?

well here is a DIY inexpensive way to organize your lipsticks. :)

20141204-125516.jpg

Above you can see this 3 in 1 cotton set I purchased from The Dollar Tree. Take out the cotton swabs, cotton pads, and cotton balls. You can save everything in here, place them in mason jars and put them in your restroom to use.

Lay the plastic trays throughout the drawer, organize them in color or texture,

you can fit 4 lipsticks into one square. This is only a 1/4 of my lipsticks,

I will probably need 2 drawers to organize everything! -.-

Hope you enjoyed this simple inexpensive way to organize your lipsticks!

POP ART

Today I wanted to do something fun and different.

This is clearly just for fun and not something

someone would wear out for the day.

Step 1: Line your lips with a deep red liner.

Step 2: Fill in your lips with BESO lip gloss from Stila Cosmetics.

(this is a matte gloss that doesn’t transfer)

Step 3: with an angle brush line your lips with black eyeliner, I

used the black liner from Morphe.

Step 4: Color inside your lips with the same black liner.

Step 5: with Clown Cake from Ben Nye draw on a couple lines to make it cartoon like.

And there you have it, FUN Pop Art Lips!

I have a quick tutorial on my instagram check it out here.

Simple Smokey Eyes

Simple Smokey Eyes

Did you ever realize how easy it is to do a smokey eye?!

This is the best smokey eye technique when you have about 10-15min to get ready.

Plus look how much bigger it makes your eyes look!!!

20140513-113457.jpg

You want to apply a primer all over your lid so the makeup could stay.

(you can apply a darker primer on your lower lid so the shadow comes on dark,

I usually use black liner and blend it in)  Using the Tarte Cosmetics Holiday Palette.

1. Using a flat brush you want to apply #1 on your lower lid

2. Then with a blending brush, blend #2 right onto your crease blending all the

colors together.

3. Using a flat brush use #3 right below your brow bone to highlight your eyes.

4. to get the smokeyness below your lower lash like you want to use a

black eyeliner in your water line.

5. Then with a pencil brush use the color #1 right below your lower lash line,

then with a stiffer  blending brush softly blend #4 right below #1.

6. Finish off the look with Tarte Cosmetics precision liner and #33 lashes from Salon Perfect.

I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy smokey eye!
