Matte Eyes

Im so in love with matte everything right now! I love how fresh and smooth it looks.

Doesn’t it look really soft? Im going to show you how I achieved this look with the

Tarte Cosmetics Matte Palette.

Below is a close up of my Matte Eyes.

20140603-163148.jpg

Step 1: apply a matte eyeshadow base, I used painterly from MAC this will help your eyeshadow from

creasing throughout the day.

Step 2: You are going to apply the light shadow (#1 on the photo below)

to your entire lid using a flat brush.

Step 3: Using a fluffy blending brush you are going to apply the soft brown color

(#2 in the photo below) to your crease

Step 4: Using the brown shadow you are going to smoke that out

below your lower lash line using a pencil brush

(#3 in the photo below).

Below is a description on where the colors should be place.

I hope this makes it easy for you :)

To finish the look I applied brown gel liner from MAC with an angle brush.

Then applied #113 and #118 lashes from Ardell Lashes

(my new favorite combo)

Lips: Karma Lipstick and Sunshine kisses from Dose of colors.

Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills pomade in dark brown.

Simple Smokey Eyes

Simple Smokey Eyes

Did you ever realize how easy it is to do a smokey eye?!

This is the best smokey eye technique when you have about 10-15min to get ready.

Plus look how much bigger it makes your eyes look!!!

20140513-113457.jpg

You want to apply a primer all over your lid so the makeup could stay.

(you can apply a darker primer on your lower lid so the shadow comes on dark,

I usually use black liner and blend it in)  Using the Tarte Cosmetics Holiday Palette.

1. Using a flat brush you want to apply #1 on your lower lid

2. Then with a blending brush, blend #2 right onto your crease blending all the

colors together.

3. Using a flat brush use #3 right below your brow bone to highlight your eyes.

4. to get the smokeyness below your lower lash like you want to use a

black eyeliner in your water line.

5. Then with a pencil brush use the color #1 right below your lower lash line,

then with a stiffer  blending brush softly blend #4 right below #1.

6. Finish off the look with Tarte Cosmetics precision liner and #33 lashes from Salon Perfect.

I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy smokey eye!

Tartes Precision Longwear Liquid Liner

April 16, 2014

20140416-115354.jpg

I was so excited to try this eyeliner!!! I love me some winged eyeliner! but,

sometimes it takes so much work to do, I only have few minutes  to

get the job done! I normally use an angle brush and MAC black track gel liner,

which is great but time consuming. With one swipe, this eyeliner is super dark and easy to handle.

So easy to have a steady hand with this liner. Very happy to add this to my everyday collection.

What I LOVE about Tarte is all their products are so pure and formulated WITHOUT

parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate, and gluten.

20140416-115404.jpg

Above is the eye shadow collection from Tarte Cosmetics.

This is what I used to get the  look below, super soft beach look.

20140416-115412.jpg

1. i used the gold shimmer on my lower half of my lid.

2. then used the soft matte brown across my crease.

3. The matte white for my brow high light.

4. the dark brown shimmer below my lower lash line.

20140416-115424.jpg

Then to finish the look I used Salon Perfects Demi Wispies for my Lashes.

and Anastasia Beverly Hills chocolate duo powder from her pro palette on my brows.

Hope you enjoyed this look. See you in the next post.

Electric Palette Urban Decay

April 15, 2014

photo-9

Hello loves! Today I had some time to play with the Electric Palette from Urban Decay.

The photo above is what I came up with! I LOVE how pigmented the colors are.  I hate when you purchase

an eyeshadow and it look so beautiful and bright in the palette but you put it on, it looks so dual.

92203_electric_palette

1. Apply the color “urban” to the center of your lid.

2. Next apply “savage” to your crease with a blending brush.

3. To highlight my brow bone I used the color “vanilla” pigment from MAC

4. Above your crease softly swift the color “slowburn” so there is more of a transition.

5. Apply a black liner to your waterline.

6. Apply the color “chaos” to your lower lash line using a pencil brush.

7. Next I used Tartes new liquid liner (It’s AMAZING!) to create my winged out eyeliner.

8. Finished the look off with Salon Perfects Wispies, I glued them on using Duo Adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed this look!

Have an amazing day!

2. I used “Taj Mahal” ( top left) all over my lid

3. Then defined my crease with “Grand Canyon” ( top right)

4. I highlighted the center of my waterline with their inner rim brightner. ( my ALL time favorites) >here<

5. Then I smoked out The green “central park” with a pencil brush right below my lash line.

January Favorites!

January 3, 2014

20140103-094943.jpg

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow

image

If you have tried this product then you would know exactly why its one of my favorites!!! This brow Pomade is completely smudge proof, water proof, fade proof! Using an angle brush you can apply as much or as little product as you want, which makes the application easy. I apply more product on the brush when I’m defining the lower part of my brow,  whats left over on my brush, thats what I use to shade in my brows. The best part about it is, Im only using ONE product. :)  DipBrow Pomade comes in 5 different colors. You can Purchase them here.

2. Tarte Cosmetics Maracuja Creaseless Concealer

41oArGoqw-L._SX425_

I LOVE using this product as my highlight, it works just as it says, CREASELESS! this product is full coverage and sits perfectly onto the skin without making you look like you have a ton of makeup on.

3. NYX Glitter Gel Liner

Screen shot 2014-01-03 at 9.52.47 AM

Glitter is always fun to wear! These eye liners are super affordable and you can find them at your local Target store. They come in a variety of colors.

4. Morphe Brushes

Screen shot 2014-01-03 at 10.53.18 AM

Love these Morphe brushes, they are super affordable quality brushes!

I have to do a different post on my favorite brushes because their are way too many!!!

5. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Fall into Purples Pictorial

October 26, 2013

20131026-142304.jpg

Hello my Ladies!!!

Here is a look I did last week. I finally have a Saturday off and I am able to share

what I used to get this beautiful Fall Look.

Above is a Step by Step pictorial. Making it easier for you to see

what I used and where I used it. :)

Step 1. Use soft ochre paint pot from MAC and apply all over your lid, then apply matte bone shadow to your lower part of your lid using a flat brush

Step 2. using a tapered blending brush apply matte deep teal to the outer corner of your crease (your deep crease)

Step 3. With your #217 brush (its a stiffer blending brush) apply matte plum on your lower lid right before the matte deep teal. Now on your lower lid the gradient of colors should go from light to dark.

Step 4. using a tapered blending brush #224 from MAC, apply matte navy across your crease.

Step 5. Using the rim brightner from Tarte Cosmetics, apply in your waterline.

Step 6. Take Anastasia black covet liner and apply it to the inner and outer corner or your waterline.

Step 7. Lastly I winged out black liner on my upper lash line, I used urban decay 24/7  black liquid liner.

This is the NeutralEYES volume I from Tarte Cosmetics

20131026-142712.jpg

I finished the look using House of Lashes in Feline.

20131026-142853.jpg

To get nicely shaped brows I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Palette.

BTW… Dont you love the separated eyeliner on my waterline?

I don’t like how the white eyeliner looks on me alone,I tried this look and love it!

20131026-143254.jpg

One of my favorite things right now!!! Dose of Colors lip gloss, Sunshine Kisses.

20131026-143432.jpg

Until next time!!! Have a wonderful weekend!
