Here is a soft brown smokey eye I did. Its a super natural eye that you can wear on or off the red carpet. This is the type of smokey eye that you can wear everyday! I used only 3 colors and it take only a few minutes to do. So if you say you dont have time to do your makeup in the morning watch this tutorial and it will change your mind! haha

Hey guys, I was watching American Idol the other day and Jennifer Lopez had this amazing smokey eye! Her eyes were super dark and she had this light pale pink lipstick on. I mean… she is gorgeous anyway so I would think that any makeup she had on would look amazing! haha but it inspired me anyway to create another fun, simple tutorial. If you guys have any other suggestions on what I should show or do differently please let me know.

So I have now been a makeup artist for officially 10 years! geez I feel old! but I have quite a few Red Carpet experiences under my belt. From big events like the Grammys and Oscars to small store openings! A few things you have to remember about red carpet you got to use primers and long lasting makeup because these events are long and they cant go in looking gorgeous and come out looking, well…. not so pretty! haha

Some brands of primers I like are, smashbox, two faced, and Laura Mercier. I have never had a problem with these and also know that these will definitely help your foundation last all night! Primers to use on your eyes, Urban Decay, and Macs paint pots! I love them!

Anyway, here is one look I put together for you all recreating Kim K’s look at the Golden Globes and I also added some fun nails to go with the look:)

Last week I turned myself into pop art! a Roy Lichtenstein inspired look. I know I look kinda freaky but I love it!  lol

I wanted to create something different, something that you don’t see too often for Halloween. I want to give you guys some ideas b/c its my favorite time of the year and I always have a hard time looking for the best costume.

This looks really hard but I broke the steps down so you guys can follow it pretty easily.

There are 2 different pop art looks in the video, the 1st one is a little simpler where there are dots just around the eyes, and the second look is a little more enhanced where there are red dots all over the face and drawn on tear drops etc…

Texture: A Creamy Texture, Easy to Blend, Deepest Black Liner

Likes: You know back in the day when you would melt your black liner with a lighter so it can have a soft texture, to glide on your eye smoothly and stay super dark, That is pretty much how smolder is without having to melt it. lol  I love to use this product for runways, You can use it on the crease and set with black shadow so the black stays really dark. Or use it all around your lid and smear out with a blending brush for a smokey eye look.

Here is last weeks tutorial, there were many requests to get Beyonce’s wet makeup look in her video 1+1. I love the wet look but the shadow is super sticky and not realistic to wear out. lol Hope you guys enjoy!
