Anastasia Glow Kit!
Another part of my Comic Series, Poison Ivy!
Again the most important part is the color and the black lines.
That is what makes it more cartoon like oh and
of course the contacts are a big deal too
Kryolan and Ben Nye Face Paints
Glue Stick from Target
Colored Hair Spray
Lashes from Fright Night Glam
Last year I turned myself into Cheshire Cat. But never had time to share the products I used.
Below is the florescent palette I used to get all the color on my face.
After using this palette, I also used Florescent eye shadows to set and
blend the face paint.
To get the bright colors for my hair I used:
For my lashes I doubled up some Demi Wispies from Salon Perfect.
Have an Amazing Halloween!!!
This year I got super inspired to create Halloween Makeup looks, looking like Im straight out of a comic! My son is super into comics so of course I had to create these looks for him. I asked him which one I should do first and he said Black Cat. So here it is.
You can typically find these face paints at any halloween store.
for all the black paint, I either used black eyeliner from MAC or face paint (which is a little easier to control) Krylon Palette I got from Naimies.
Lips: Merlot Lipstick from Dose Of Colors, you want to get a long lasting lipstick so it doesn’t smear throughout your night.
Contacts are from juststylemeboutique.com
Wig is from a Halloween store, cost about $20.00
Brushes: I always use brushes from Morphe Brushes.
Watch the step by step video to create this Halloween Look!
-Love you guys!
I love going through old photo because I find Gems like this.
Here is a tutorial I made last year on How to get Casual waves.
Perfect look for the Holidays.
Step 1. Grab about an inch of your hair
Step 2. Hold your iron upside down and start to wrap the hair around the wand.
Step 3. To get that casual wave, leave about 1-2 inches out of the curling iron.
Step 4. Hold your hair straight for about 15seconds.
Step 5. Let your hair go.
Step 6: Brush your fingers through your hair, to soften up your curls.
Final look of your Casual Waves.
Have an amazing Day!
DIY LIPSTICK HOLDERS
Have you ever tried to organize your makeup, and found everything at the
container store was extremely expensive after having to purchase every
little compartment you need?
well here is a DIY inexpensive way to organize your lipsticks.
Above you can see this 3 in 1 cotton set I purchased from The Dollar Tree. Take out the cotton swabs, cotton pads, and cotton balls. You can save everything in here, place them in mason jars and put them in your restroom to use.
Lay the plastic trays throughout the drawer, organize them in color or texture,
you can fit 4 lipsticks into one square. This is only a 1/4 of my lipsticks,
Hope you enjoyed this simple inexpensive way to organize your lipsticks!
Been going through this phase of purple lipsticks. Maybe I feel like I need to match my hair color, haha.
I wanted to share one of my favorite color combinations right now.
Step 1: Apply Dark Secrets from Dose of Colors . directly in the middle of your lips.
Step 2: Next, line your lips with plum Lipliner and slightly fill the corner of your lips in.
Step 3: Press your lips together blending the colors together.

Have a wonderful day!
Im so in love with matte everything right now! I love how fresh and smooth it looks.
Doesn’t it look really soft? Im going to show you how I achieved this look with the
Tarte Cosmetics Matte Palette.
Below is a close up of my Matte Eyes.
Step 1: apply a matte eyeshadow base, I used painterly from MAC this will help your eyeshadow from
creasing throughout the day.
Step 2: You are going to apply the light shadow (#1 on the photo below)
to your entire lid using a flat brush.
Step 3: Using a fluffy blending brush you are going to apply the soft brown color
(#2 in the photo below) to your crease
Step 4: Using the brown shadow you are going to smoke that out
below your lower lash line using a pencil brush
(#3 in the photo below).
Below is a description on where the colors should be place.
I hope this makes it easy for you
To finish the look I applied brown gel liner from MAC with an angle brush.
Then applied #113 and #118 lashes from Ardell Lashes
(my new favorite combo)
Lips: Karma Lipstick and Sunshine kisses from Dose of colors.
Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills pomade in dark brown.
I did a quick lip tutorial with this look check it out on my instagram…
Enjoy this matte look!
See you guys in the next post!
Today I wanted to do something fun and different.
This is clearly just for fun and not something
someone would wear out for the day.
Step 1: Line your lips with a deep red liner.
Step 2: Fill in your lips with BESO lip gloss from Stila Cosmetics.
(this is a matte gloss that doesn’t transfer)
Step 3: with an angle brush line your lips with black eyeliner, I
used the black liner from Morphe.
Step 4: Color inside your lips with the same black liner.
Step 5: with Clown Cake from Ben Nye draw on a couple lines to make it cartoon like.
And there you have it, FUN Pop Art Lips!
I have a quick tutorial on my instagram check it out here.
see you in the next post.
