Hey guys, I was watching American Idol the other day and Jennifer Lopez had this amazing smokey eye! Her eyes were super dark and she had this light pale pink lipstick on. I mean… she is gorgeous anyway so I would think that any makeup she had on would look amazing! haha but it inspired me anyway to create another fun, simple tutorial. If you guys have any other suggestions on what I should show or do differently please let me know.

Though I got inspired by Jennifer Lopez, every celebrity loves to do a smokey eye wether its on or off the red carpet. Kim Kardashian especially! Since she is so popular with the smokeyness I decided to name yet another video after her. lol Hope you guys enjoys this!

Base: White clown cake (Krylon)
Lid: Silver (Mehron)
Crease: Carbon (MAC)
Crease2: Copperplate (MAC) on top of carbon
Highlight: Nylon (MAC)

Glitter: reflects silver glitter (MAC)

Aqua Smokey Eyes For the Day!

WHAT I USED…

1.Base: Aqua gel liner MAC

2. Lid: Aquadisiac MAC, reflects teal glitter on top

2. Deep Crease: use black shadow and blend up.

3.Crease: Then soften the black shadow by overlapping it with Texture from MAC (soft brown)

4. Highlight: Use a light matte shadow, Blanc Type from MAC

5. Eyeliner: Thinly line your lash line with black track gel liner from MAC

6. Waterline: Smolder MAC

Here is a Holiday look that will look good on anyone. I originally created this look for Halloween but its also a look that would be gorgeous to wear out to your work Holiday Parties this year.

I love old Hollywood, the makeup, fashion, Marilyn Monroe etc… Who wouldn’t want their hair and makeup to look like this especially for a formal night out. You can create this look in just a few minutes.

I obviously do not have perfect eyebrows, do you see that before and after picture?! But I do get asked all the time what I use and how I do my eyebrows so I am going to show you all how I do it!

Eyebrows are very important! They can change the whole shape of your face.

There are a few steps but they are pretty simple steps and I know you all can do it. Once you get used to doing your brows all the time it will only take a minute to do them like this.

Face Shapes and tips on how to shape your brows:

Long Face:

A flat, horizontal brow makes the face appear more oval shaped .

Worst brow shape is thin high arched eyebrows, they will make your face look even longer.

Round Face:

A high arch, angled brow looks best, this will give your face shape a thinner appearance.

Worst shape: Round thin eyebrows, this will only make the face appear rounder.

Square Face:

Angled or curved brows with a sharp point to take attention away from the square jaw line.

Oval Face:

This is considered the perfect shape, (everyone is perfect to me!) maybe because you can have a few different shapes.

one thing to avoid is having too highly arched brows.

Heart Face:

Rounded brows look the best.

Flat straight brows arent the best for this face shape.

Diamond Face:

Angled, round or curved brows with a peak to narrow the wide cheek bones look best.

A flat brow look worst for this face shape.

Today Megans Fox’s eyebrows are thicker and shaped to frame her beautiful face which brings out her blue eyes even more. Her thinner brows left so much space making her face look wider than it really is. I think her thicker brows make her look a lot sexier too.

Here is the guide to getting the perfect brow shape for your face.

STEPS

1. You want to take a pencil and line it up from the side of your nose straight up to your eyebrow, this is were your eyebrow should start.

2. Then take the pencil from the tip of your nose across your pupil, this is were your arch should be.

3. Last take your pencil from the side of your nose again across the outer corner of your eye and this is where your eyebrow should end.

I made it easy for you guys and showed the steps of how to shade in your brows are shaping them.

This is what you are going to need. From left to right, brow pencil, brown eye shadow, 263 angle brush, select cover up concealer, 212 flat brush.

This is how your brow may look without shading.

First you wanna shape your brows by using a brow liner. I used spiked brow liner from MAC,

-line the bottom of your brow, however you want your brows to be shaped.

Next, you shade in your brow using an angle brush and brown shadow to get a natural brow. If you use a pencil for the whole brow, your brow will look drawn on.

Then you use concealer and a flat brush to clean up your shading. This will perfect the shape you are looking for. Using the flat brush clean up the bottom and top of your brows. Then blend the concealer to where you wouldn’t be able to see it anymore.

This is the final look.

The correct way of shaping your brow to your face is this, the start of your eye brow should be lined up with the inner corner of your eye. The ending point of your brow should be diagonal from the outter corner of your eye.
