I went to go visit Melody, Natalie and Ash Yesterday, its been way too long since I have got to see these girls. I miss them so much, they inspire me to do so much more in my life and I cant imagine not having them around. Melody had these ready for me like 3 months ago and I have not picked them up til now, I know, I am crazy because they are soooooo cute. Thank You so much for these amazing pieces, Azelle and I love them!
Faith
Faith , I got to meet this wonderful amazing young girl a few weeks back. Faith got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was only given 6 months to live. As a mother I can’t imagine what her mother has to go through on a daily basis. Everyday trying to give her what she needs to function. She decided to create a wish list, everything Faith wants to do before her young life is taken from her. One thing that she wanted to do was to get her hair and makeup done and do a photo shoot like a celebrity. I did her makeup, she wanted red lipstick like me. she was so cute! My Excuse…
So I just wanted to say sorry for not being able to respond to emails, requests, or post up as many blog posts as I really want to. My life has been so crazy busy these last few months. Im not sure if I had mentioned it but I went back to school to get my esthetics license to benefit my work, it has been extremely hard to stay in school 8 hours a day because work is crazy busy these days and I have a limited amount of hours that I can miss from school. (Im not complaining I PROMISE, I hope I get busier with work, b/c what I do is so MUCH fun) But I also have a little one at home that wants all my attention because I have not been with him all day 
(the little guy above, how can you not want to spend time with him after a long day at school?) So it is a little hard right now to get to have free time to get to a computer. BUT I’m done with school in 3 weeks! awww finally I don’t have to be stuck in a room for 8 hours a day, I don’t have to hear the class bickering with each other over small situations that shouldn’t matter in the first place, and no more ugly pajama looking uniforms!
Sorry I went off track for a second, but what I wanted to say is thank you for supporting us at Lady Art and I promise you will see some exciting projects that we have coming up!!!

I write for the real, I write for the good, I write because you need to read.
There are so many things happening with todays youth. Corporations are ruling everything beautiful, televisions are ruining beautiful minds, celebrity buzz are ruining peoples lives. I want to take the attention away from the limelight and reflect it back to what is important: buying from independent designers/artists, buying food from local farmers/farmer markets, reaching out to young youth and giving back, giving back in general, listening to music that has positive messages, reading about true news not your local channel 5 news because newscaster are all paid actors.

I recently read a little about Jessica Simpson’s new VH1 show: ” The Price of Beauty” . I am really looking forward to watching it because Jessica Simpson is partially known for putting on this act of being so ditzy (act or not) and then doing this show that seems to be a little deep revealing the definition of beauty around the world, is a must see for me. Especially working in our “beauty industry” and getting all caught up in ‘how we should look’, this show may actually give a majority of Americans a new perspective on beauty. Jessica Simpson explores 7 countries with Ken Paves and best friend Cacee Cobb.

I feel complete and ready with new business cards! I get so excited in little random things. But especially for your business, you need to have business cards at hand at all times!
I chose matte with rounded corners.
A friend recommended a new company to try out for cards. They’re called State of Graphx. Super nice and very helpful. If you need any printing done for flyers, cards, brochures, etc.. hit them up!

Mug Shots Photo Booth
Store 13 had this photo booth at their Grand Opening. They have actual booths that they can deliver to any location and they also have a Van that they drive to a location, you jump in take a photo and your photos are printed in about 30 seconds! Grammy Day
Yesterday I got asked to do Trey Songz mom’s makeup, I felt honored to do her makeup for the Grammy’s. Its weird how God really talks to you, and lets you know that you are on the right path. Makeup is my passion but sometimes it is slow and I think maybe I should try to do something else, then I ask him to give me a sign. Well… Yesterday he did. I ended up having to meet April, Trey Songz mom at a salon instead of the Hotel. When I walked in Keri Hilson was getting her hair done by Maisha Oliver. BTW I am a big fan, she is so sweet, and so beautiful. Well because I had to meet her at the salon I got to meet Keri and her people, and they asked me to go to her Hotel to do her moms and sisters makeup for the Grammy’s, words can’t express how I felt at that moment. Im so sad that she didn’t win but being nominated for a Grammy is already huge accomplishment in life.

Good Bye Jersey Shore
So this weekend my sis in law (not official, but she’s a sister to me, haha) Marina, were in the kitchen talking. All I remember was we were talking like we knew these people, OMG… he is so good to her and she is so rude, I can’t believe she did that to him, but they were cute together, I can’t believe they have only been together for a month, you think they are going to stay together? and all of a sudden my boyfriend walks into the room and asked “who are you talking about?” “umm Ronnie and Sammie” and thats when I realized that my life has been corrupted by the Jersey Shore. hahaha
I know were not the only ones right??? I’m gonna miss the fist pumping, Guidos, and Guidettes. I can’t wait for the next one! what am I going to do on Thursday nights now?
BTW I found this while I was trying to find a picture of Sammie and Ronnie together, it better not be real! Jersey Shore is definitely entertaining but who really gets these tattoos?

Help Haiti
As you all know there was a magnitude 7.0 earthquake that struck southern Haiti at 5:12 pm on January 12th. They need our help, if you can only do some research and see what they are suffering it’s horrible. I can’t even imagine having to be in their position walking down the street with wounded people and dead bodies everywhere, who are their family and friends. The least we can all do is donate some money to help aid the people suffering, there has been over 100,000 deaths Please HELP.
