So many brushes..what to use?
Yes brushes can be confusing, because there are so many. I try to keep it simple and researched! the ones that I get asked a lot about. Like for flat ironing hair? Detangling? Thick hair? Teasing? Dandruff…I know a brush for dandruff??
For tangles/detangling: “The Wet Brush “
When you get out of the shower, apply your leave in conditioner/spray/serum and use The Wet Brush to start from the bottom and work your way up. Super gentle to use. You can find this in store at Target or Amazon for like $9 bucks!
Buy it here Amazon: The Wet Brush
For flat ironing/Straightening: Amika Straightening Tension Comb
This will give you just enough tension to hold your hair while combing through tangles while straightening! Makes straightening easier!
Buy it here Amika Straightening Tension Comb
For detangling wet hair in the shower: Wide Tooth Comb
The difference with this and The Wet Brush is, its great to distribute conditioner evenly while in the shower, detangles and the conditioner residue won’t build up in the brush, you can just rinse the teeths of the wide tooth comb. Also great for detangling curly hair in the shower

For Dandruff: Good Styling Therapy Reduce Dandruff Copper Infused Brush
So I honestly have not tried this but found it interesting. The bristles on this brush is coated with copper, a natural fungicide which can help prevent the itching and flaking caused by dandruff.

For teasing: Milani Big Tease Comb
Love this for teasing! Thank you to a great hairstylist, Lara C Kay of Studio Kay in Glendale, for sharing this teasing comb. It’s heat resistant, anti static, and very strong. Try it for extra cushion and give volume

Hope this helped!
