Found this great tutorial from Pinterest to do a four strand braid! I know the first time I tried to do three it was confusing! I hope this diagram will help! Go beyond the basic braid and get creative!

Adeles Grammy Makeup Tutorial
Adele looked STUNNING at the Grammys! She was by far best all around with her makeup, hair, gown! I can just go on and on about how gorgeous she looked. So my picture is a little exposed due to the flash but if you watch the video I recreated EXACTLY how Adeles makeup looked for the red carpet and for her performance! She went for the classic old Hollywood look and she pulled it off perfectly!
I love that she made this album from her past experience with an EX. We all have those “bad” experiences but the fact her album was successful her EX must be kicking himself in the butt right now! hahah I love it!
So here is the 2nd look. All her makeup Artist did was add a little bit more color to her crease and instead of her bright red lip they gave her more of a natural pink lipstick.

Valentine’s Day Nails
I love how today is filled with so much Love!! This is an amazing feeling to have everyday!
I did last minute Valentines day nails! I used white polish by OPI alpine snow, flashy fuchsia by Sally hansen, and a black art liner for designs.

So today is the day you celebrate love with your special someone. If you don’t have a date or aren’t in a relationship (so overrated lol ) its a day to love yourself, to remind yourself that you are worth it, you are loved by good friends and family and deserve to have this day to yourself.

2 Days til LOVE day! if you have that special someone you are going to spend your V.Day with you should manicure your nails to look like these. It says Valentines Day without being in your face! How adorable are these?
I used China Glaze black nail polish.
and China Glaze Matte Magic nail polish! this is my new favorite. All you have to do is apply a coat or 2 on top of any color polish and it turns the polish into a flat finish! AMAZING!
So here is another picture of my fabulous nails without the red heart on my ring finger.

How to Apply The Perfect Red Lip
Its no surprise that I LOVE bright lips. Its my favorite thing to do! If I HAD to choose one piece of makeup to live with for the rest of my life (thank God I don’t really have to do that) but I would definitely have to keep my red lips.
See I’m telling you… Same bright lip, Different day.
I have done many Red Carpet events in my days and anytime someone is not sure about trying on a bright lip, I apply it on just so they can see it and they end up LOVING it.
Like… April, Trey Songz mom. I do her makeup when she is in town attending events with her son. This is her with a bright lip, I talked her into doing this for a premiere she was attending and she loved it.
You would be surprised on how many steps can go into achieving the perfect red lip. I mean you obviously don’t do these steps everyday but when you are attending a red carpet event or taking pictures all night long these steps make a difference!
Anyway… Here is a special video I put together showing you how to apply the perfect bright lip!

How to get Red Carpet Ready!
So I have now been a makeup artist for officially 10 years! geez I feel old! but I have quite a few Red Carpet experiences under my belt. From big events like the Grammys and Oscars to small store openings! A few things you have to remember about red carpet you got to use primers and long lasting makeup because these events are long and they cant go in looking gorgeous and come out looking, well…. not so pretty! haha
Some brands of primers I like are, smashbox, two faced, and Laura Mercier. I have never had a problem with these and also know that these will definitely help your foundation last all night! Primers to use on your eyes, Urban Decay, and Macs paint pots! I love them!
Anyway, here is one look I put together for you all recreating Kim K’s look at the Golden Globes and I also added some fun nails to go with the look:)
