Adele looked STUNNING at the Grammys! She was by far best all around with her makeup, hair, gown! I can just go on and on about how gorgeous she looked. So my picture is a little exposed due to the flash but if you watch the video I recreated EXACTLY how Adeles makeup looked for the red carpet and for her performance! She went for the classic old Hollywood look and she pulled it off perfectly!
I love that she made this album from her past experience with an EX. We all have those “bad” experiences but the fact her album was successful her EX must be kicking himself in the butt right now! hahah I love it!
So here is the 2nd look. All her makeup Artist did was add a little bit more color to her crease and instead of her bright red lip they gave her more of a natural pink lipstick.

Hope you all LOVE it! For more of my videos click go to youtube.com/LadyArt7 (click on link).
So today is the day you celebrate love with your special someone. If you don’t have a date or aren’t in a relationship (so overrated lol ) its a day to love yourself, to remind yourself that you are worth it, you are loved by good friends and family and deserve to have this day to yourself.
My favorite bible verse on love…
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
-Corinthians 13:4–8
For everyone who has not seen my posts. Here are some makeup and nail ideas you can do for your special date.
a romantic look using the naked palette from Urban Decay. I got so many requests asking me to do a few looks using these colors and this is what I came up with.
Happy Valentines Day! Lets celebrate love by doing fun pink eyeliner! I love this! one of my favorites that I have done!!!
So I created this look using a couple different eyeliners going from a light pink down to a bright red pink! To finish this look I used Salon Perfects eyelashes. So many of you ask what lashes I’m using or where I got them from. You guys would be surprised! I don’t use very expensive lashes on a daily bases because i feel like it is pointless! Why not get an inexpensive lash that is just as durable and last just as long! So I tried these lashes (Salon Perfect, which I found out you can only purchase them from a Wal-Mart) during Christmas and I just love them! They are comfortable and I can reuse them a few times!
Watch the video below to see how I got this fun Valentines Day Look!
Here is a soft brown smokey eye I did. Its a super natural eye that you can wear on or off the red carpet. This is the type of smokey eye that you can wear everyday! I used only 3 colors and it take only a few minutes to do. So if you say you dont have time to do your makeup in the morning watch this tutorial and it will change your mind! haha
Hope you guys like the video! See you guys in the next one.
So I found this old tutorial I did on my old blog about 3 years ago. Its crazy to look back on the work you have done and how much the videos I do now have progressed ! I dont even talk to explain anything. lol enjoy this oldie but goodie!
Base: Rubenesque
Step 1: Apply Rubenesque all over the bottom half of your lid, for your eye shadow to last ALL day. I like to apply this with my fingers.
Eye Shadow:
MAC
Honesty
Texture
Rice Paper
Step 2: Apply Honesty Directly on top of your base using a flat brush to pack on your shadow.
Step 2: Apply Texture to the crease of your eye. Start at the outter corner and blend in, use a 224 brush from MAC.
Step 3: Apply Rice Paper to your brow bone. Right below your eye brows, you can use a 217 brush.
Step 4: With a small blending brush apply rice paper right below your lower lash line.
Eye Liners: Graph Black, Boot Black from MAC
Step 5: Apply Graph Black eye liner to your water line.
Step 6: Apply Boot Black eye liner to the top of your eye, start from the end of your eye and line to the middle and then do your inner corner and line to the middle.
Step 7: Apply your Mascara or Lashes, mine are #3 lashes from MAC
Its no surprise that I LOVE bright lips. Its my favorite thing to do! If I HAD to choose one piece of makeup to live with for the rest of my life (thank God I don’t really have to do that) but I would definitely have to keep my red lips.
See I’m telling you… Same bright lip, Different day.
I have done many Red Carpet events in my days and anytime someone is not sure about trying on a bright lip, I apply it on just so they can see it and they end up LOVING it.
Like… April, Trey Songz mom. I do her makeup when she is in town attending events with her son. This is her with a bright lip, I talked her into doing this for a premiere she was attending and she loved it.
You would be surprised on how many steps can go into achieving the perfect red lip. I mean you obviously don’t do these steps everyday but when you are attending a red carpet event or taking pictures all night long these steps make a difference!
Anyway… Here is a special video I put together showing you how to apply the perfect bright lip!
Hey guys, I was watching American Idol the other day and Jennifer Lopez had this amazing smokey eye! Her eyes were super dark and she had this light pale pink lipstick on. I mean… she is gorgeous anyway so I would think that any makeup she had on would look amazing! haha but it inspired me anyway to create another fun, simple tutorial. If you guys have any other suggestions on what I should show or do differently please let me know.
The video below shows every step and every product I used so make sure to check it out!
Though I got inspired by Jennifer Lopez, every celebrity loves to do a smokey eye wether its on or off the red carpet. Kim Kardashian especially! Since she is so popular with the smokeyness I decided to name yet another video after her. lol Hope you guys enjoys this!
So I have now been a makeup artist for officially 10 years! geez I feel old! but I have quite a few Red Carpet experiences under my belt. From big events like the Grammys and Oscars to small store openings! A few things you have to remember about red carpet you got to use primers and long lasting makeup because these events are long and they cant go in looking gorgeous and come out looking, well…. not so pretty! haha
Some brands of primers I like are, smashbox, two faced, and Laura Mercier. I have never had a problem with these and also know that these will definitely help your foundation last all night! Primers to use on your eyes, Urban Decay, and Macs paint pots! I love them!
Anyway, here is one look I put together for you all recreating Kim K’s look at the Golden Globes and I also added some fun nails to go with the look:)
Don’t you want to learn how to get these fancy pantsy nails?! Hope you love it!
