DIY Lipstick Holders!

December 4, 2014

Have you ever tried to organize your makeup, and found everything at the

container store was extremely expensive after having to purchase every

little compartment you need?

well here is a DIY inexpensive way to organize your lipsticks. :)

Above you can see this 3 in 1 cotton set I purchased from The Dollar Tree. Take out the cotton swabs, cotton pads, and cotton balls. You can save everything in here, place them in mason jars and put them in your restroom to use.

Lay the plastic trays throughout the drawer, organize them in color or texture,

you can fit 4 lipsticks into one square. This is only a 1/4 of my lipsticks,

I will probably need 2 drawers to organize everything! -.-

Hope you enjoyed this simple inexpensive way to organize your lipsticks!

Happy Organizing!

Makeup Monday- Wing Eyeliner Made Easy

December 1, 2014

Hey Everyone!
So Today I wanted to share an easy way to create a Winged Eyeliner. I do a wing liner just about everyday, its my my favorite. I get a lot of questions about how I get both eyes even. The truth is, it really just takes practice. Good news is that if you don’t have a lot of time to practice and you really wanted this look for tonight’s party or for a night out, I have an easy trick!

1. Start by taking your favorite concealer and drawing a line from outer corner of your eye up towards your eyebrow. This will ensure your wing placement is most flattering.

2.Take any gel or liquid liner and draw a thin line onto your lash line.

3.Now draw a line right above the concealer line you drew before. Make sure not to follow the line all the way up to the brow; just extend the line out as far as you feel comfortable.

4.Next connect the lines. I start from he point of the wing and bring it back in towards your lash line.

5.All that’s left to do is fill in the wing. From this point you can make any corrections you may need, like making the wing more extended out or making the liner thicker; Its all up to you and what you like.

Add some mascara and falsies (if you choose to) and you got yourself a perfect winged liner.

Don’t forgot to show us your Winged Liner by hash-tagging #LAMakeupMonday!!!
