What To Wear With Your Hair: Pureology Colour Fanatic 21 Essential Benefits

October 30, 2013

So excited to share this new product with you all!! Dealing with different hair types all the time I wanted a product that pretty much did it all. Too much to ask? Well then Pureology decides to be even more amazing and comes up with their Colour Fanatic 21 Essential Benefits. Umm seriously in love with it already! For my clients, I wanted a product that was a leave-in conditioner to detangler to heat protectant. Pureology answered my request with their multi tasking hair beautifier for color treated hair. I also started using it on myself to really know of the benefits, so far my hair has been extremely soft. I’ll spray it in after I wash my hair and even a couple days later to refresh the ends and add some conditioning to it. What’s even more exciting are the long term results they claim to have for the health and beauty of our hair.

Here are all the amazing benefits this product offers:

Fall into Purples Pictorial

October 26, 2013

20131026-142304.jpg

Hello my Ladies!!!

Here is a look I did last week. I finally have a Saturday off and I am able to share

what I used to get this beautiful Fall Look.

Above is a Step by Step pictorial. Making it easier for you to see

what I used and where I used it. :)

Step 1. Use soft ochre paint pot from MAC and apply all over your lid, then apply matte bone shadow to your lower part of your lid using a flat brush

Step 2. using a tapered blending brush apply matte deep teal to the outer corner of your crease (your deep crease)

Step 3. With your #217 brush (its a stiffer blending brush) apply matte plum on your lower lid right before the matte deep teal. Now on your lower lid the gradient of colors should go from light to dark.

Step 4. using a tapered blending brush #224 from MAC, apply matte navy across your crease.

Step 5. Using the rim brightner from Tarte Cosmetics, apply in your waterline.

Step 6. Take Anastasia black covet liner and apply it to the inner and outer corner or your waterline.

Step 7. Lastly I winged out black liner on my upper lash line, I used urban decay 24/7  black liquid liner.

This is the NeutralEYES volume I from Tarte Cosmetics

I finished the look using House of Lashes in Feline.

To get nicely shaped brows I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Palette.

BTW… Dont you love the separated eyeliner on my waterline?

I don’t like how the white eyeliner looks on me alone,I tried this look and love it!

One of my favorite things right now!!! Dose of Colors lip gloss, Sunshine Kisses.

From Day to Night

October 10, 2013

Last week we did a blog post for NastyGal. Below is my friend Rachel aka @instasteak on Instagram

20131010-101026.jpg

The whole concept is that it takes only 5minutes to make yourself look alive! The left side of the photo is how Rachel looks with a completely bare face, still gorgeous, I know! We are going to add a couple steps to make her look more awake.

On the right side of Rachel’s face I added tinted moisturizer a little bit of bronzer on the apples of her cheek to give her some color.
Next I added brown eyeliner to the outer corner of her lower waterline, to open up her eyes.
I then curled her lashes and added a couple coats of mascara.
Finished it off with some lip gloss and she is done! 5 minutes that’s all it takes.

Now if you want to go for the Kim K look, extra dramatic makeup look below!

I contoured Rachel’s Entire face, gave her a dark smokey eye and added some pretty dramatic lashes #201’s from Ardell Lashes. Final look is below!

It’s crazy how just a little makeup can change your entire look, right?

Until next time!

Frankenstein Makeup Tutorial

October 4, 2013

The Bride of Frankenstein

1. First I painted my entire face white… with ben nye clown cake and a sponge. I purchased mine from Naimies.

2.Next you want to shade in your face with green and yellow face paint to create the shading. i used this click link

3. To blend the colors, I used Ben Nye white powder to help me do this. It will also set the makeup.

-Make sure to do this after you do not want to use any more cream colors.

4. Then I used Face Paint to draw on my new brows, and gave myself stitches around my forehead and neck.

5. Next I created a purple smokey eye using Macs Parfait A’mour, seedy Pearl and Carbon eyeshadow. Then lined my eyes with black track eyeliner.

6. Using Smolder pencil from mac I lined my lips extending the my lips outwards. Then I filled them in with rebel and impassioned lipstick from MAC.

7. Finish up the look using mesmerizing lashes from Ardell Lashes Fright Night Collection.

2. Then Apply the aqua blue from the Makeup Forever flash palette, apply it to your face with a sponge, shade around your eyes and chin.

3. Cover your brows with Elmers glue stick and conceal them with black face paint.

4. Then draw in some new brows above your real ones.

5. Apply black Eyeshadow all around your eyes, I highlighted my lid with royal blue shadow from MAC.

6. Then apply white eyeliner in your water line and slightly below your real lashes, creating your eyes to look a lot bigger.

7. Take the black face paint and  line right where the white eyeliner ends creating a new lower lash line.

What To Wear With Your Hair: Kenra Platinum Hot Spray & Hoola by Benefit

October 1, 2013

For this session of What To Wear With Your Hair, I’d love to share with you Kenra Platinum Hot Spray and Hoola bronzer by Benefit.

For your hair: Kenra Platinum Hot Spray is used on dry hair before and hot tools are used. It holds your style and protects from heat. What I found out is, when you spray on dry hair it is a little sticky at first but that’s ok, just comb through and continue to style

For your makeup: I love love love this bronzer by Benefit Cosmetics! It’s perfect for everyone I think. Hoola is not too orangey and when used with a blush brush it can be a great contour powder. It comes with a square looking brush but I am more comfortable using a plain blush brush.

Check out the products on here:

Kenra Platinum Hot Spray $9 for a small size to try :)

Hoola by Benefit $28 for this amazingness
