Moroccan Oil Treatment

April 8, 2013

Probably still one of my favorite conditioning serums, MoroccanOil Treatment!

“Moroccanoil® Treatment’s versatile, nourishing and residue-free formula can be used as a conditioning, styling and finishing tool. It blends perfectly with other products and even speeds up drying time. This treatment for hair completely transforms and repairs as its formula transports lost proteins for strength; fatty acids, omega-3 oils and vitamins for shine; and antioxidants for protection. It absorbs instantly to fill gaps in hair created by heat, styling and environmental damage.”

This is AMAZING on thick, coarse hair that needs some taming or for real dry hair.

You can leave in your hair after your wash it or use before styling your hair.

How to:

1) Apply  to damp hair, and comb through to have even saturation

2) Blow dry hair

3) Finish off with a heated style (flat iron/curling iron) for that extra shine

The only thing is, it is a treatment, does not have heat protection. They do have a product for that, so you can layer both to protect your hair from too much styling.

You’ll love this!

Nume Curling Iron

April 5, 2013

How I use my NUME curling iron….

I always get asked about my hair, so here is exactly what I do to curl my hair.

1. Take a small section, about an inch in width.

2. Point the curling iron down and wrap your hair around the curling iron, make sure your wrapping your hair around going towards the back of your head.

3. Leave about 1-1.5 inches out, this will keep your hair from looking to perfect. I like my hair to look a little messy.

4. When your release your hair from the iron, immediatley pull your hair straight to get more of a natural loose curl.

5. Release the your hair after holding it straight for a couple seconds.

6. Comb your fingers through your curls.

Above is how the Nume wand looks, this is what I used to get this look.

Jewelry: Melody Ehsani Rolex earrings

Lashes: House of Lashes, in Feline

Brows: Anastasia Brow Genius

I hope you got something out of this.

Comment let me know what you want me to do next!! give me ideas!!

Beauty Tricks: White Eyeliner

April 4, 2013

Beauty Tip of the Day:

four of many things you can do with white eyeliner.

1. Use white liner as a guide to shape and shade your brows, Shape your brows anyway you want using white eyeliner. Tweeze all the unnecessary hair outside of the white eyeliner. Then you shade in your brows using anastasia brow genius. I love this product!!! You mix in a water proof product so your brows stay looking perfect ALL day!

2. Use white eyeliner as a highlight right below your brow, shade in the white pencil and blend it out using a short blending brush.

3. Use white eyeliner in your waterline to open up your eyes more. see the difference from the photo above?! I shaded a natural matte brown below my water line to clean up the look.

4. Use white eyeliner on the inner corner of your eye (the tear duct) to brighten up your eyes!!

And FINISH this look by using House of lashes Noir Fairy
