Greasy roots update

I just recently discovered the wonders of dry shampoo. (explains multiple mentions on the topic) I wash my hair every other day to avoid over producing of oil on my scalp, so in between or if I go longer than a day or two, I’m all over dry shampoo.

I love Big Sexy Hair Dry Volumizing Shampoo, but I did hear that Batiste ( a Sally’s product) works well too. I tried it but I wasn’t as satisfied.

batisteWMbig_sexy_hair_volumizing_dry_shampoo__69690Batiste: pros- absorbs minimal oil, makes hair feel product-less

cons-sprays white (brush off right away), does not absorb as much oil as I wanted

Big Sexy Hair: pros- great volumizing product on dry hair, absorbs oil well, gives a matte texture to hair

cons- has a slightly weird odor ( maybe it’s the oil and old products + Big Sexy Hair = weird odor?) but                                              it’s not a big deal.

Overall, I like Big Sexy Hair. I would still love to try other dry shampoo so let me know of any ones you prefer!

Toni & Guy dry shampoo. Got it in London and worked amazingly well, no white powder (I have dark brown hair) and fixed my GBS (Greasy Bang Syndrome) in a sec.

I didn’t like Toni and Guy’s Bedhead “Rockstar”, personally I love the Big Sexy Hair One. I just wish the can was bigger :(
